We have extended support to improving health care infrastructure at the 1200 bed Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad which provides free services to the poor for all their health care needs. This support is extended through a volunteer driven non-profit organization, United Care Development Services (UC), (www.yousee.in). UC worked with the hospital administration in identifying the gaps in diagnostics services infrastructure at the hospital and procured in March 2014, a high output Biochemistry auto analyzer, a Coagulation analyzer and Electrolyte analyzer, which now enable the lab to provide faster and quality diagnostic reports for the patients served at this hospital.

In July 2015, Kriti Agrawal, the president of youth wing, along with 2 more volunteers worked at Gandhi Hospital to understand their needs and accomplish certain tasks.
We have been supporting SevaMela. It also actively participated in the Daan Utsav or Joy of Giving Week Celebrations. Nearly 200 people from Burgula Village visited SevaMela in 2014 to learn about different projects. The event also witnessed in-kind donations by the villagers of rice and other house hold items which was distributed to other NPOs. School kids from village performed social awareness skits. The event organized by UC (www.yousee.in) and United Way of Hyderabad had the participation of 112 Non-Profit organizations (NPOs) working for diverse social causes including education, health, environment and livelihood promotion. It created awareness among the visiting public about several of these social causes and facilitated interaction and collaboration between the NPOs.
