Asthma/ COPD Camp by Dr Vishnun Rao of SWASA Foundation

On 19th July, a medical camp on breathing disorders and allergies was organized along with Dr Vishnun Rao and his team of SWASA Foundation. His team travelled early in the morning to the village. Pragathi team was also present along with Ms Shubhi Pathak and Ms Anita Basavaraju of the USA. Dr Rao who specializes in respiratory diseases briefed on the preventable causes of breathing problems, the symptoms, its effects,identification and management. He, along with the sarpanch Ms Sumana and Dr Agrawal urged the villagers to refrain from smoking. The team performed tests to identify respiratory problems in all present. Medications were distributed free of cost. More than 200 people took advantage of the Camp.
